On July 16–17, 2026, the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Talaingod, Davao del Norte, joined hands with regional partners to launch the MOVE GAD Caravan 2026. Held at Banaog Elementary School in Sitio Banaog, Barangay Palma Gil, this two-day event brought essential services, infrastructure, and education directly to one of the province’s most remote Indigenous Peoples (IP) communities.

The initiative was spearheaded by the Men Opposed to Violence Against Women and Children Everywhere (MOVE) Pantawid Pamilya Davao del Norte Chapter, alongside the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office XI. By combining public resources with private sector support, the caravan demonstrated how targeted Gender and Development (GAD) programs can uplift vulnerable sectors and foster inclusive growth.
